Dear Career Expert(s),

I had an interview for a sales position on Feb. 13. Since then I have made a point to follow up with the hiring manager every Monday via email or phone call. Each time she responds telling me that they have not made a decision and that she will keep in touch. I was informed during the interview that they would let me know either way regardless of their decision. I have read that it is wise to follow up consistently after a job interview specifically for a sales job, because it shows your potential approach in the sales world.

My question is, how much is too much? I haven't sent an email this week because I feel that I have become an annoyance more than anything, but at the same time I want to express my continued interest in the position. Should I continue to follow up?
